During the Conaendi, the authors who have their papers approved will have the opportunity to share the results of their researches and share them with the several sectors present, whereupon they may explore the trends, challenges and advances that influence the segment, in order to contribute with industrial development.
On a networking environment, they will also have contact with distinguished domestic and international lecturers, with several segment companies and with all the NDT and Inspection community.
Technical papers shall look for their uniqueness, being forbidden the inclusion of commercial nature information. The approved works will be included within the final program of the Congress and shall be submitted orally or by digital poster, being made available after the event at Abendi’s library.
Authors interested in submitting technical paper at Conaendi 2025 shall abide by the following schedule:

Only one author for each approved Technical Paper will be enrolled as Presenter. Further authors/co-authors fall within the Congress Participant Category.
- To adhere within the event’s proposed agenda;
- To bring forward a technical contribution or development/technological innovation;
- Abide by the Technical papers schedule and the formatting standard procedures made available in the documents hereinafter;
- The works shall be evaluated by the committee for their presentation during the event.

Rendering tribute to professor Paulo Gomes de Paula Leite, born on March 31, 1920, in Rio de Janeiro and deceased at 86, on March 30, 2007, Abendi established in 1989 the Award named after him. This recognition is granted to the best technical work submitted to Abendi’s congresses and it is one of the most traditional stimuli to the quality and the development of new techniques that contribute to technological capacitation of the Brazilian industry.
Biography: Professor Paula Leite was a pioneer and dean of Non-Destructive Tests in Brazil. He worked for more than 50 years at Rio de Janeiro Navy’s Arsenal, having as a landmark in his work the introduction of X-rays in equipment, in addition to being an NDT spreader in many public and private institutions. He also wrote the first NDT book issued in our country by the Metallurgy and Materials Brazilian Association (ABM), having been honorary member and founder of Abendi.
